When I was small I never stopped doodling. My dad used to bring boxes of old printer paper with holes down the side home from work—just to keep up with demand. Anything I liked I would draw: the Nike and Adidas logos, Watford and Man Utd badges, Sonic and Mario, Bart and Homer, Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior. Nothing was safe, not even my school exercise books.
Now we have a daughter my wife and I were wondering if she might have this same obsession. Either way we thought it would be a nice idea for me to draw her a series of child-friendly illustrations. There will be eight in total with each being an anthropomorphised animal accompanied by a small bee. A tiger is the first, a panda the second and a monkey is on his way.
