The client requested an engaging and attractive responsive site for a pretty gruesome subject. It was also felt that the existing creative could be improved upon but was already public so the site must be an improvement while still in keeping with what had gone before. With this in mind I kept the core of the colour scheme, used more emotive and less graphic imagery plus new typography. I also worked on the wireframes to improve the content flow and kept the main CTA in a fixed position at the bottom of the viewport.
